Assistant Rui Faria dragged away from row with official
José Mourinho and his assistant, Rui Faria, reacted with fury to Chelsea's shock 2-1 home defeat by Sunderland after Mike Dean awarded a late penalty, from which Fabio Borini ended Mourinho's 77-game unbeaten run in the league at Stamford Bridge. Borini is on loan from Liverpool and Chelsea's defeat means that his parent club will move five points clear at the top should they win at Norwich on Sunday.
Faria had to be held back from confronting Dean and the fourth official, Phil Dowd, after Borini scored, and following the match Mourinho used his media appearances to make a heavily sarcastic attack on Dean and the head of the Premier League referees, Mike Riley.
