    Letting agents' fees should be scrapped to help private tenants, report says

    Chartered Institute of Housing and Resolution Foundation also want tax breaks for landlords who improve properties

    Letting agents should be banned from charging tenants fees to improve conditions in the private rented sector, housing experts have said.


    A report by the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) and the Resolution Foundation (RF) also warned that more effective regulation is needed to tackle rogue landlords.
