Fifteen hurt in bus crash at Gateshead cemetery

Single-decker vehicle smashed into railings and ploughed through more than 50 graves in Saltwell, says witness

An estimated 15 people have been injured after a bus crashed through railings and ran over more than 50 plots in a graveyard.

The incident happened when the single-decker vehicle hit a stationary car in Saltwell Road South, Gateshead, at about 11am on Thursday.
