Actor best known for Oxo TV adverts has chosen to stop chemotherapy treatment for colon cancer in November

Actor Lynda Bellingham has chosen to end chemotherapy treatment within weeks, allowing her to die after spending one more Christmas with her family.

The 66-year-old star, best known for her long-running role as a mum in the Oxo TV adverts, has been battling colon cancer, which later spread to the lungs and liver, since being diagnosed in July last year.
